Our company was assigned by the former Ministry
of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (KTM) to do an emergency
intervention and remediation at a fuel storage area of a former soviet military
airport in Mezőkövesd. During the two years of the operation we successfully
regained about 186 600 liters of floating kerosene from the clayey soil,
and treated more than 80 000 m3 of heavily contaminated soil.
