The PYRUS-Rumpold Inc. entrusted us with the necessary
remediation of the soil- and groundwater pollution caused by organic and
inorganic contamination at the Vehicle Repair Station of MÁV (Hungarian State
Railways) in Debrecen, which has an area bigger than 10 000 m2.
The contamination near the surface was eliminated with soil replacement
simultaneously with the of the PYRUS-Rumpold Inc.’s activity (elimination of
the source of the contamination). The groundwater with high ph values and TPH
contamination was cleaned by yielding with diving-pumps and using an
enzyme-based aeration tower technology.
